Nature’s Signs of Motivation

Bhumi N Deshpande

Nature’s Signs of Motivation

When you see no way ahead

You’re disappointed and downcast,

Wondering over and over

How long such time will last

When you’re lost and devastated

Your cries suppressed to sobs,

With a sudden jerk of your body

Speedily your heart throbs

Gather the courage and might

And remind yourself how so,

Even the torrential rains

End with a huge rainbow

As the setting day

Gives way to the black night,

The more dark it gets

The more the stars shine bright

The fragile touch-me-nots

Droop to defend,

But very soon re-open

Worthy to comprehend

Those tiny caterpillars

Struggle a lot but try,

That long patience in the cocoon

Makes the gorgeous butterfly

Those small sweet sparrows

Build the nest with such patience,

Protect the infants from all dangers

No words for their diligence

See, how the branches

Whose barks dried in autumn,

Regain life with time, and

Sprout flowers in rhythm

Everything sometime

Has to lose, has to fall,

You just need to move forward

Even if you crawl

Close your eyes and breathe

A deep breath of confidence,

Exhale the fear and doubt

Tackle all the hindrance

Focus on your goals

And never lose your zest,

For those who face the most

Are those who make the best

That's for today. Hope you enjoyed my poem!
