Merry Christmas all of you! I wish you all the happiness and success you can wish for!
Hope you enjoyed it a lot.
You'll get your gift, but before that I want to tell you something.
We all know that Christians celebrate Christmas day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus son of God, a spiritual leader whose teachings form basis of their religion.
Jesus taking birth on 25th December, as it is said, has a symbolical meaning. According to the Christian calendar or the Gregorian calendar, this day falls on the last week of the year.
What this signifies is that after overcoming all those difficulties, facing all those problems and dealing with testing situations, throughout the year, which has filled us with sorrows the son of god comes and guides us through his words and his teachings on the way to live your life and not just survive it.
Hence, keeping him in mind, with new found enthusiasm is the time to welcome a new year, a new chapter of our life and making it worthy recalling.
Also Christmas prayers are filled with gratitude, where we thank god for giving us all that we have.
Although Christmas is a christian festival, all of us, whichever religion we belong to, can cherish the symbolic meaning of this day. For all of these are interconnected.
And do you know where the word 'Christ' comes from?
The name "Christ" means "annointed one". This is take from the Greek word "Christos". Some language historians trace the Greek language to the oldest Indo-European language, Sanskrit, which is 3,500 to 6,000 years old, perhaps older. By finding a Sanskrit equivalent, it is reasonable that we may be able to ascertain the probable origin of the word "Christ".
The Greek "Christos" is almost identical in sound and spelling to the Sanskrit word "Krista", meaning all-attractive.
The Sanskrit word "Krista" is a variation of the word KRISHNA, one of the countless and ancient names for God Almighty in that language. The name "Krishna" also means "all attractive".
Why is God called "All-attractive"? Because He has everything in full.... including power, fame, renunciation, wealth, beauty, and intelligence. Human beings may have some of these attributes in part. But God, as the Supreme Person, has everything in full, with no shortage in any way. No one possesses anything beautiful, intelligent, great, powerful or more opulently than God Almighty.
God has many names in many languages, not just a few Biblical names. One such name for God is Krishna.
Initially, we may object, but when we think about this concept without anger, prejudice, or preconceived bias, we can logically conclude that God must have unlimited names, because God himself is unlimited, by the very definition of the word "GOD".
Muslims call God "Allah".
People in all lands of the Earth have different names for God. If we contemplate this idea for a moment in silent prayer, then we can understand it's simple, obvious truth. There are countless names for God.

By whatever name we call him, we all call the supreme lord. Changing names does not change the God.
He is the potency, the supreme energy who keeps all energies in this cosmos dynamic as well as in equillibrium, which makes the universe and the world the way it is, fit for us to live in!
His appearance is the sign of the welcoming of positivity and gratitude into our lives.
As I had mentioned in my previous blog post, we do not get to choose our parents, our relatives, our neighbours, people who come in our life or the situations we face in life. But still today by god's mercy you have passed all of that you are reading this post.

We should be so grateful, to have wonderful people in our lives. Supportive parents, amazing friends and most importantly ourselves and our abilities! We have eyes to see this beautiful world, a nose to smell the nectars of this earth, ears to listen to others, a mouth to eat the delicious foods, a tongue to speak and express ourselves........this list will never end.
But our gratitude and our thankfulness for these does end, right? In fact we take all of this for granted, isn't it?
Let's realize that we have so so much more than so so many people.
If not heretofore, then let's give gratitude a place in our lives from today!
So here's a task!
1] Every week, take a paper and write a Thank You letter to god listing all the things you have been grateful to have got or achieved in the previous week! Writing is very powerful.
And believe me, you'll feel so good once you do this. I've seen people who would do it just once a week initially, but they felt so contented that they have started doing this everyday!
2] If for some reason it is not possible for you to write things down, here's another way. I'm sure all of you here use Whatsapp Messenger of something similar.
What you have to do is make a new group named God (or whatever you call the god you believe in ), with a single person. Since you are the group admin, you can remove that person from that group.
And there's a chat between you and the almighty! Here you can type in all the thankful thoughts you have and practice gratitude.
However, some of us...or rather almost all of us don't want anyone else to read our Thank You letters or those messages we send.
So what's the solution for that?

Your Gift!
Yes! That is what your gift is. This app recommendation!
3] There's an app called 'Three Good Things'. It is available on the google play store. It is add-free and does not require you to sign-in. With quotes on the header and footer of each page, it is a wonderful app that I'd recommend you all to try out once.
(NOTE: This post is not sponsored! I just personally find this app quite useful and easy to use, it's my personal recommendation.)
You can keep the app in some folder in the corner of your phone, so almost no chance of someone seeing it....(If that is what you worry about)
You see....on days when you feel blue, you can read through your gratitude journal to readjust your attitude and remember all the good things in your life.
So take your first step towards your contented life by following any of the three options given above.
And write down 'DONE!' in the comment section of this post when you take the first step!
All the best! Keep Smiling!
That's what I have for you today. Hope you find it helpful.
Please comment on what you felt about it, so that I can keep bringing more like these.
